Description
Magnolia grandiflora
A medium sized evergreen tree best known for its beautiful white flowers. The trunk can reach up to 4’ around and the canopy grows in a pyramid shape. This hardwood tree blooms large white flowers (7-10” diameter) during the summer months and produces a fragrant smell. Red fruit is produced and attracts wildlife. Leaves are dark green with a waxy appearance, oval shaped, and grow up to 8” long. Grows best in a moist soil with mulch for good draining, but can adapt easily to any soil condition.
