Roystonea oleracea

Popular in warm, coastal areas. Native to Cuba and North America. An evergreen palm with a gray trunk and 6-10’ long fronds. Leaves are 18-36” long. Produces yellow flowers in Summer. Trunk has ridges from old leaf scars, adding character. This palm grows in poor soil, where most trees cannot.
