Description
Juniperus Virginiana
A small, pyramid shaped evergreen with a rich piney scent. Blue-green foliage grows in a scale pattern overlapping other leaves. Bluish cones are produced by female trees and yellow cones are produced by male trees in the winter months. The trunk has a shredded, fibrous bark that wildlife like to use to nest in. Branches are reddish-brown and the leaves are densely packed.
