Description
Chrysalidocarpus lutescens, Dypsis lutescens
Can be grown indoors and outdoors. This multitrunk palm hosts feathery leaves and bushes outward. Leaves grow about 5-7′ long. Leaves spring up like butterfly wings and branch out. yellow flowers bloom at the bottom of the leaves in late Summer, and are followed by a fruit pod of green fruit that turns orange and hangs down. Fruit is not edible.
