Phoenix Roebelinii

A perfect indoor palm due to its slow growth rate and maximum height of 10′. Although it grows as a single trunk, it can be planted easily with three or more trunks. Trunk is spiky, covered with scars from old leaves, giving it a textured pattern. Leaves grow about 4-5′ in length, with a feathery look and slight droop down. Flowers are small, and followed by a pod of about 10-12 date fruits that hang down. Fruits are deep red-purpple when ripened and have a large seed with a thin layer of fruit.
